I have ordered slim line hoops and have a set up question. I have entered the 6.5 X 6.5 swuare hoop in my hoop manager and 5.9 for both X and Y dimensions. What do I put for X and Y offset and thickness? I cannot get the dimensions correct so the design will fit in the hoop and it is small enough to fit.Since Melco did not sell them to me, they cannot help me, and Hoop Tech says it is my software. HELP!!!

Hello Ann stick piece of paper on the back of the hoop - find the center using a rulre and mark it (be precise) - mount the hooop the usual way on your amaya - move the laserpointer manually to the marked center using the keypad - read the offset on your screen of the OS - enter the amount in the section "adding new hoop" - name the new hoop and save it - finished - short - but hope that will help you greetings from Vienna - Austria - Peter

I followed the directions and I see lines that look like graph paper with tiny little letters in the middle(my design). These lines are off to the left of OS in a block. When I trace it is out of the hoop. I looked up Slim line discussions but not much help!

I have a slim line 6.5x5in and the X dimension is 7.323in, X offset is 0, and thickness is 0.63in with default sew field of 0.469in. I don't know if this info will be helpful.

Thanks for both of your replys. I gave the job to a friend because I felt like it was too long for the customer to wait.
