  • Thread Shredding

On my XTS, I've got a problem with one cone of thread. It shreds within a few stitches. I've tried it in a different position with a new needle and it does the same thing. Different colours work fine on the same pattern. Everything points back to the cone. I've tried pulling out a load of thread just in case it's a bad patch as well. It's Madeira and I've never seen this before. Is this a common problem?

    Best regards

I have found a little moisture can help.
two ways that can help freeze it and then take it out and in the bathroom
when someone is in showering to warm.

Or you can just mist the cone with water and let it rest for an hour.

this has gotten me through many times.

Sometimes dark colors, being more highly processed, can be a bit more fragile. If you have purchased this cone recently and are having no problems with your other colors, your vendor might replace it.
