Using Design Shop with Brother Machine/ DS Update

Do any of you use Design Shop Pro with machines other than Melco. I use Design Shop Pro +, and am thinking of buying a 6 needle Brother machine to take to shows. I am very interested to see if any of you use DS with a brother machine, and how well the designs will load on the machine. I know its capable of saving in a pes file, but will all the trim commands,ect. transfer properly?

Also, does anyone know how to get the hoops set up in DS for a brother machine?

How do you know what version of DS you have I bought mine at ISS in October and was told I would get the update for free, Anyone Know how to get that update?

I have been told that the update isn't ready yet. Not even close. But I have gotten a demo of it and the look/feel of it is much better than now. So, I'd say probably months, not weeks.

To see what version you have, click on Help and then on About. You'll see a version number.
