  • AMAYA XT making noise when stitching wider satin stitches

Both of my machines make a terrible noise when stitching
a 1/4" or wider satin stitch.
Somewhere I read it could be my cables, x and y
I also read somewhere (can't find it now) that they need to be checked
    yearly.
Does anyone know a procedure on how to do this and what tools I need to
perform this maintenance. It has not been done and I have had the machines for 4 years. I do however perform all maintenance per timers!

Please help and let me know if there is some other maintenance that I am
    suppose to be doing.

    Thank you,
    Pam

    Adjusting X Y cable

there is a procedure for adjusting, tightening, the x or y cable. You will have to look it up in the technical manual you should have on your computer. It is not hard but you will need to follow the procedure.

Are there special tools? I did see online they have tools you have to buy but I was wondering if they are the same you can buy at Sears?
      thank you.
