  • Marine rolling duffle with waterproofing

Doing these for the first time. It is a very large duffle with wheels...has a nice size sewing field 12" x 8". I am planning on using a Magna hoop and wondering if there are any tips out there for stabilizing/balancing the bulk of the heavy duffle as it stitches. Also, it is treated with a waterproofing backing and I know there is a product to apply that will maintain it's waterproof integrity. Anyone ever used it? The one I have found is heat applied and I guess I will have to use a household iron as my heat press would clamp down over the zipper flap and possibly damage it. Thanks.

Answering my own post!! I got advice from the supplier on the waterproofing issue - still need suggestions on how to balance that big bag on "something" as it stitches. Also, need help pricing it out. The logo design is one color - @9" x 3.25" - 16k stitches going on the top zipper flap.
