  • excessive noises from my XTS

    Hello.

my machine makes excessive noises.and now I pressed the stop key because this noise but it didnt stoped until I pressed on the E-stop button!

It started when I used the slimline hoops and the melco techs told me to change the position of the screws.
but I still have this problem! so I'm using the regular hoops.
everything was ok and suddenly again this problem with the regular hoop...

I dont know where the problem is... because it happened sometimes and after the machine continue to work well but I always fears that it will happen again and now it happened again and worse...

I sent an email to melco service and waiting for answer

    thanks for your help

Not enough information to help you...where does it sound like the noise is coming from?

An educated guess is that the X-axis cable tension needs to be adjusted. You should have a gauge that was supplied with your machine if you bought it new. Check your tech manual for instruction on how to use this and make the adjustment. If these cables do not have the proper tension on the XT series, the machine can/will make a very loud chattering noise.
