  • Vertical Laser Alingment

I am doing an applique on a trucker hat near the side seem. I need the applique to be aligned with the side so it doesn't look funky and crooked. Using the laser alignment tool, I have always and only used it to align to a horizontal line - like stripes going across a shirt. I do that all the time. BUT now I want to align using, not a horizontal guide line, but a vertical guide line. Anyone know how to do that? FYI I can't hoop these hats with that side seam exactly vertical therefore need to use the alignment tool.

You can do it the same way ( locate laser light on the seam or whatever you are using as your co-ordinates, and hit the arrow button etc.) then when you are done you will just need to rotate your design. You can also center after aligning and then move it up, down, left, or right if need be.

I believe they have all the possibilities listed in the help section of DS as well. Not sure if DS 10 is different. I have DS 9
