  • 96/4 poly/spandex stretch woven fabric

I normally sew horse blankets and such. I have a request to sew Port Authority Cascade jacket backs. I haven't ever sewed anything with Spandex in it and i am wondering what is the best backing, do I use ball points, what size, how do I keep the fabric from puckering. It may be embroidery 101 for most people but this 74 year old been out of the market in stretch fabrics. Thank you.

Have you've stitched out? I was really interested in the answers to your questions too. I only know to use a very light backing glued down to stop any slipping due to the Spandex but I'm still trapped in Embroidery 101 after a dozen years so was curious about the ball point question too.
