  • Major OS Installation Problem

    I'm still using OS10 and DS9. I've sent a message to sales to inquire about upgrading . . . this program is giving me all kinds of problems . . . again. I've once again, uninstalled all of it and my attempt to reinstall OS10 has presented me with this delightful message. WTH . . . this is from the original disk and I've got jobs to get out!! Can you say "NOT A HAPPY CAMPER". So I'm looking for help. I'm also going to post on the other site I use so between all of you experts out there, hopefully I'll find a resolution. Thanks to all for always pulling me out of the fire . . . not sure about this time!
    Message says: "An installation support file could not be installed. A catastrophic failure"

    I thought OS10 for for DS10. When I upgraded to DS10 I was told I would need OS10 for them to work together. I would try installing OS9 and see if that is the problem.

    I upgraded because my new computer was Windows 10 and DS9ProPlus did not work properly. Designs looked fine on the screen but stitched out with gaps and all kinds of weird jumps and blank spots.

      Since you are a license holder of 10, I could upload a zip of the files for you to try an install from that instead of your disc - which may have an issue.
