  • Hoodie design problems

My columns are coming out far too tight even though I keep adjusting pull comp. The fabric is sweatshirt fabric. The columns vary from 17 to 32 pts (ribbon-like effect) with a 4.0 density and I have it on Auto Actifeed. I have a 25 walk stitch under all. I don't really know about any of the "Advanced" settings on my Design Shop Pro V9. I want them to be thick and full looking without being tight. Any suggestions are appreciated. Oh yes, I probably need more underlay - first run was with tear-away.

Try using auto density with the setting at
    10-5.7
    20-4.8
    30-4.3
    40-3.8
    50-3.6

Drop one tenth point each after that..

          10 point wide column - 5.7 autodensity
20 point wide column - 4.8 autodensity etc.

This is an old post and machines have changed; you might want to give the folks here more information for more help with what you are trying to achieve. What machine are you using, what's your fabric and backing etc... Not sure what you mean by "plusher."
