Humidity or Heat Issues?!?

This may be a dumb question, but newbies are allowed to ask dumb questions right? Has anyone ever had experience with humidity or just heat in general causing problems with thread or bobbin breaks?

Low humidity can cause increased breaks.
Not a problem for us this time of year.
higher humidity actually can reduce some breaks.

Heat is not an issue here as the machine is in AC in the summer.
