  • Embroidery for a customer

Someone contacted me and asked me to embroider their company logo on some shirts. They are an employee. Should I contact the company to make sure it is ok to embroider it? Or since he is paying for it, is it ok to embroider it without calling his company?
    Thank you

Contact the company no question, Min. get a signed release that states your customer is authorized to use the Logo.

Yes I agree. What ramifications if he was the only one wearing an embroidered shirts, etc?

I would have your client contact his company to get written approval on letterhead for you to embroidery their logo on shirts for him. I would not go around my customer. I have actually had the head office give me instructions that include the Pantone shade of red or blue to use.
