  • False bobbin break on single needle

    Hi everyone,

I have searched the forums but did not find a topic for my problem.

I have an XTS that is giving false bobbin breaks on needle 1. It runs fine on all the other needles. Thanks I have done:

    1) moved thread to another needle
    2) cleaned red rollers
    3) cleaned bobbin casing
    4) checked for obstructions etc...

some other small stuff but I still have the same issue on needle 1. Any tips or suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    Needle burrs or dull needle?
Needle scarf facing the wrong direction?
Needle eye positioned no more than 5 degrees to the right?

Go to settings and disable all thread detection. Then re enable it. Sometimes cures false thread break issues.

A tip I received from tech support is to slightly rotate the thread sensor bar (round bar that thread passes around) and sometimes that does the trick. It helped my errors. All you have to do is turn it maybe a 1/4 turn.
