  • Machine stopped during sewing with needle down & no Tech in my state

My Amaya was sewing a simple monogram design and it stopped with the needle down. Once the emergency button was released the needle came up and there wasn't any damage to the garment. I started the machine and it sewed 2 or 3 stitches and did the same thing. This is continuing to happen. Unfortunately, I am in an area where my Melco Technician just moved to Dubai. I have done some maintenance before like changing a mother board and a few other things. Any help or suggestions on what to do or where to look is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

It must be the weather. My Silver Surfer was giving me grief earlier this week. The first thing I did was shut EVERYTHING down and reboot. The next time it happened, I pressed the left arrow and up arrow keys simultaneously. Those things worked. And the next day -- no problems at all. I love wondering how it will run today!

Sometimes the hook needs oiling on mine when this happens.
