  • It must by drier than I thought

I live on the Northern California coast, and today's project was on a synthetic blend for cheerleaders -- shirts and jackets. It's normally a really nice humidity level here on the coast in the summer, so I didn't think about static when I started having multiple thread breaks, broken needles, and generally a terrible, horrible, no-good day.

Tonight I noticed the end of the thread was springing apart, and all it wanted to do was stick to the machine when I tried to rethread. I started rubbing everything with a Bounce sheet before sticking into the machine, and held the sheet down on the red roller while the thread was being fed.

I am now on design number three without a problem.

    Da**ed drought!
