Sequin attachment questions

We have 2 big reds and the thought of adding sequins is intriguing. I've done a little research and am vaguely aware of what we need to have equipment wise (compressor), but we only have DesignShop Lite.

Will we need to upgrade to Pro or Pro+ to digitize the sequin design?
What is the learning curve for using sequins?

Also, is anyone selling a sequin unit and how difficult is it to install on our own?

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

First issue is that they are Big Reds and the machines are not set up for a sequin attachment. Even for the XT series, many of them had to have the mother boards swapped out. There was also several components that had to be installed inside of the machine for the attachment to work. Usually a 6 to 8 hour job at the minimum for a trained tech.

Second issue is that I do not believe that Melco is selling or equipping the machines with the sequin heads anymore, but I would have to double check on that...
