Sewing Letters first, then outline

New to all of this....

I'm doing a design with Athletic Block 2 Color lettering and I'd like to sew the letters first, followed by the outline. Is that possible?

If you mean lets say you have a name MATT and you would like to sew the full name MATT and then go back a stitch the border.

you can convert the name to wire frame and then you can drag the borders together and the out lines together.

Though I have found it is better to allow each out line to sew after each letter as it registration is better.

I meant drag the letters together then the outlines together in the properties window.
