  • Sewing Small Script Font

I'm trying to find a small script font that will sew out well without thread breaks every few stitches. Size needs to be .40-.45. I've tried several of the Melco fonts in DS V9 with no luck. Any suggestions???

use a center walk as the underlay, knock your density down a bit and use a fine # 65/9 needle.

you can also try using bobbin thread at the current density with a 65/9 needle.

you will be surprised at the difference.

I still ad a point or 2 in pull comp also.

Here's a thread with a good summary of pull comp and minimum stitch width for small lettering by Rod Springer:

What to use and how to use it. Includes... Digitizing, Needles, Hooping, Backings, Threads, Bobbins & more.
