Just a friendly reminder...
AOS - Version 10.01.001 + Network Settings
With this version (and beyond), you NO LONGER mess with network card settings or run in compatibility mode. You attach the machine to the network card as is. Then before turning on your Amaya, you go into TOOLS > OPTIONS > ETHERNET and select your network card, and check the force download box. Click ok to close the dialog box.
Then turn on your machine and it should load.
Out of habit today I when I started running a new computer with dual network cards, I went in and did all the things you USED to do with re: network card setup - and of course, couldn't get the machine to come online. It looked like it was connecting but would flash the loading CSA / RSA box again and again and again in an endless loop.
Once I reset the network card and did as above - worked like a charm on the first try.
So again, no more compatibility mode, no half duplex, no unchecking settings in the network card connection properties.
Cheers.
JOHN
