Needle Jamming Issue

I've worked with the Amaya XTS machines for quite awhile now, but recently I've come across an issue that I have no clue about resolving. My machine will run for awhile then stop with the needle down. I've been turning off the machine for a minute or two then turning it back on to get the needle to raise up and continue sewing out where it left off. It's like putting a band aid on the problem because it doesn't completely fix the problem. If anyone has any insight on what the problem is, what's causing it or how to fix this problem? I'd greatly appreciate the help.
