Thread break sensor

Any thread break at 1000 spm & under, the machine stops. Any thread break above 1000 spm, it will not stop. I gently rotated the sensor back and forth, still the same thing. Is the sensor bad?
05 XT Red panels, Round arm.

Finally received the back ordered sensor. Replaced, Now she works great. Stitches at 1200, she stops when it breaks.
