    Found the root of the notification problem - for some reason the account that sends out the thread/post notifications was in vacation mode. Not sure how that happened but it should be fixed now.

    Sorry for the inconvenience. Thought my mail box was a little quiet lately!

    John, I have been having a problem with the email notification since the end of last month and haven't been able to reach you either thru the site or thru a private email. It meant, oh horror of horrors, that I had to go to the site to see the latest postings. I'm so grateful for this site, for all the generous people who post here, and especially for all the work you put into it for us....thank you!

      Sorry for that - I should have noticed but didn't. Lots of stuff going on in my personal life over the last 6 months that have had me "distracted" at best. Just glad someone brought it to my attention and I was able to figure it out.

              Just got this one

              So, are you subscribed to the list? Or are you trying to subscribe to a topic on the boards and not getting notified.

              Either way, I would certainly start by checking your junkmail folder and white listing anything from @amayausers.com or @freelists.org

                I'm not getting the emails again either. They started again after you fixed it then quit again, the last one on 4/21, checked junk mail, nothing there either.

                  The list mail is going out - see http://www.freelists.org/archive/amayausers/04-2014 which shows that they are hitting the list and I can confirm I have gotten those.

                  OR are you talking about direct replies to the threads you post to?

                      If you have an alternate email address yes try that.

                      List emails come from theboards at amayausers.com or amayausers at freelists.org - so if you can whitelist email addresses, you want to add those two.

                        Same here, no junk, emails started again then stopped again, neither general replies nor replies to posts I have made. I've been on the list 10/10 and haven't changed any of my settings.

                          Not sure what else I can do... Clearly we are being blocked by someone. I am still getting all the mails unlike a few weeks back and the posts are making it to the list.

                          I'll have time to look into things again this weekend.

                          Sorry... Not sure what else to do.

                              Put those addresses on your trusted senders list - you might check with your service provider on how to do that.
