  • Amaya Difficulties

    Hi,

I am relatively new to the whole embroidery scene, so please bear with me!

We recently bought an Amaya machine, which has just suffered a problem:

We were attempting to embroider a cap, when the needle became stuck in the fabric at about the same time as the machine tried to change colours. Net result is the machine is now stuck (needle freed) between two needles, with one down and another partially down (although loose and free to move back up if you lightly push it). The presser foot is also down too.

After reading some posts on this forum, we have tried to rotate the shaft, but it has made very little difference and will only move about a turn before it stops.

Grateful for any thoughts on a fix - may have to call a tech, but wondered whether anyone had any good advice.

    thanks in advance.

Andy is this on a cap that is a test, if so I have in the past just pushed the forward button and let it run through the whole design to see if it will just run its course and with me it has fixed itself.
